World Masters Games in Japan postponed

Kobe will host the orienteering events of the World Masters Games.

The World Masters Games in Japan are postponed, as approved by the International Masters Games Association General Assembly on Wednesday 4 November.

The World Masters Games take place every four years, and include orienteering as one of the sports. To join the orienteering event, you need to be at least 35 years old. There is also Winter World Masters Games every five years, which include ski orienteering.

Meanwhile, Japan is preparing for a safe reopening of international tourism by summer 2021, as the postponed Olympic Games in Tokyo are planned to take place.
