Nepal scraps quarantine for vaccinated, reopening travel

We’ve said travel will come back, and travel is indeed coming back—Nepal has decided to scrap quarantine requirements for travellers who’s fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

With immediate effect, fully vaccinated travellers will be able to travel to Nepal and get a visa on arrival, with a negative PCR test result and having filled in the CCMC traveller information form before arrival. No more quarantine is required. An additional rapid test is required on arrival or at your hotel, subject to regulations at the region you’re going in Nepal.

Travellers not fully vaccinated need to apply for a visa at Nepalese diplomatic missions abroad before travelling, and need to quarantine for 10 days at a hotel.
